Well, in my last blog I said I wasn't going to watch the olympics but then something happened. I was flipping channels last Sunday, looking for something worth watching. I came across hockey. Olympics men hockey. USA -vs- Canada. I figured even if the USA lost, it would be OK, Canada isn't bad. Well for those of you who watched know it was an excellent game. This led to me watching other events, bobsledding, Super-G, and speed skating. Perhaps I finally got into the Olympic spirit. Of course, I can't wait for it to be over so that my normally programming will be on. By the way...why is everyone freaking out about the Canadians women team. Every year we see world series champs, NBA finals champs and other athletes celebrate by spraying alcohol on each other and smoking cigars.
The week has been eventful. I took the boys bowling last Sunday which was a blast. They did awesome. It was so funny watching Ethan run up to the line and throw the ball. I told him he could just stand up there and roll it but he didn't want any of that. What was the best was the way he would dance as the bowl rolled down the lane.
This weekend is going to be equally exciting. I have dance rehearsal and football practice all in the same weekend. That's right, dance rehearsal and football practice. Me, not the kids. Megan's dance studio is going to allow some Dad's to be perform in their show, I am in the company. It should be a lot of fun. This will be our first practice so I don't know what to expect. I am not even sure what kind of dance it's going to be but I will be OK. I got ballet and hip-hop skills.
At work, we have a flag football team and I got picked up as a free agent. We are playing in a city league. We were suppose to have practice last week but got rained out and we may be rained out again this week. I know, football players not playing in the rain? It's flag football. Besides, this is Phoenix, we don't know what to do in the rain.
I will keep you all posted on my dancing and football. I know that many of you will find what ever happens to be humorous.
